3 Māori Boys Go Global

Produced by Diva Productions’ commercial digital brand, Lovestory, and directed by Felicity Morgan-Rhind, this half-hour documentary tells the aspirational story of how three school mates with no business experience came up with a great idea to make a healthy non-alcoholic beverage and brought it to market in just over a year. Now they are taking it to the world.

As one of only eight NZ businesses selected by NZ Trade and Enterprise they share lessons for other entrepreneurs and inspire the next generation of Māori  who have a big idea and global aspirations.

The documentary explores Māori cultural guiding principles that empower them to make decisions in ways that are consistent with their values Hauoratanga  (health and well-being), Whanaungatanga (family, friendship and community is central to everything else), Manaakitanga  (generosity) and Kaitiakitanga being caretakers of the natural world.
